Welcome to my blog!

I don’t want to make this blog all about me but I thought it would be nice to introduce myself. Hi!… My name is Emma, I currently live in the UK and love to travel.

Ok so I’ve got a little confession to make….. I’m not actually a backpacker (not even a luxury one). That’s not to say that I don’t admire backpackers, I really do. Squishing everything into a backpack and setting off on an adventure is a fantastic way to see the world and it is something I plan to do one day. At the moment I have a full time job (Sob!) so my travel consists of squeezing in adventures whenever I have the time and the funds to do so.

Like most girls (and probably most boys too) I love a bit of luxury. Although my holidays don’t all consist of stays in fancy hotels, I do try to get the best accommodation I can for my budget whilst attempting to keep the experience as authentic as possible. Wherever I am I do try to find their backpacker district as it is always a hub of activity, a great place to find a good deal and also a chance to chat to other travellers about the best things to do and see.
